"I
have had the pleasure of knowing Andrew for over 20 years, and riding
with him at 2 Olympic Games. He is a fine horseman and has become a very
reputable trainer. "
"Andrew has given me the
confidence to achieve with my horse, even when things are not going
well. He has given me the inspiration to carry on and not give up. When
I first met Andrew, 4 years ago, he asked what I wanted to achieve. My
reply was to compete in a Pre-novice in my 40th year. Well, with
Andrew's help we did it in my 39th year! Without Andrew's care,
consideration and wealth of experience, I do not think I would have
gotten this far. I have seen Andrew ride many different horses and he
always get the best from them. Andrew is an inspiration
to us all."

"I was lucky enough to
meet Andrew 10 years ago. Having watched him
compete, I was very impressed with his horsemanship, his obvious love of
horses & his great patience and knowledge with young horses. He has
taken & ridden my horses ever since. He now rides my promising, home bred 6yr. old Star of May with great skill."

" My horse 'Mullentine My
Rose' (Bambi), has considerable potential. However, after a very scary
fall I decided that she needed someone with more experience to help her
achieve that potential. I asked Andrew if he would take over the ride
and after only one full season they are already bringing home the
ribbons. No-one,
except close friends, would ever realise how much Andrew has managed to
achieve with Bambi. Andrew is extremely underestimated. he can get a
tune out of any horse. He is a patient and considerate rider. Most
others would have given up with some of his charges, including mine. I
hope he is recognised for his achievements."
Sharon Cave, Owner
"Andrew has been bringing on
my event horses for several years now, since taking on the ride on
"Times Square II" (Gordon) at Intermediate level. Bringing his calm,
professional approach to this ride, he partnered Gordon successfully
through to Advanced
level, culminating in qualifying for Blenheim by being one
of a few
combinations to complete an extremely demanding 3-day at Bramham at
temperatures of 32°! Gordon was sold
shortly before Blenheim and Andrew now partners my new young horse,
"Marston Hill Charmer" (Charm). They are now starting to get in the
points, having ironed-out the early 'novice' inclination to let the
attention wander, and get Charm to focus on the fences!"
